What’s new in Minecraft 1.18.0?

Sculk blocks
First of all, it is worth noting the appearance in Minecraft 1.18.0 of four new rolling blocks: catalyst, vein, normal and screamer . The Sculk Catalyst can spread normal sculk blocks to where the mob dies.
In this case, the number of blocks depends on the experience that will drop out upon death. The screamer can make very loud sounds if the player is nearby. In doing so, it imposes a new effect.
Dark Effect
After the release of Minecraft Bedrock 1.18.0, a new effect appeared in the gameplay. It is known as the Darkness .In its properties, it is very similar to Blindness, but slightly different. First of all, the effect of Darkness . This debuff can be obtained in the Deep Dark.
At the moment, such a biome is absent in Minecraft 1.18.0, and therefore you can try the Darkness effect yourself using a special rolling block from the experimental Sandbox mode. Vanilla Experimental Mode
Another interesting innovation in Minecraft 1.18.0 is a vanilla experimental mode. In order to activate it, you must activate the option with the same name during the creation of the world. After activation, the sculk sensor and goat horn appear in the game. Despite the fact that they were already in the game, the developers decided to remove them in order to refine them fully.
