Best Minecraft Bedrock Servers for 1.21 and 1.26
A Minecraft Bedrock server is an always-online multiplayer world hosted by a community. You join it over the internet using a server IP address and port.
Most public Bedrock servers are free and hold hundreds of players at once. They run custom gamemodes you won't find in single-player, unlike a private Realm.
The list above is sorted by player votes. Each card shows the server's version, live player count, and IP, so you can pick one that's online and matches your game.
How to choose a Minecraft PE server
The biggest difference between servers is the gamemode they run. Start with how you like to play.
Survival and SMP give the classic experience, while anarchy is a world with no rules. PvP and minigames are built for quick matches, and skyblock and prison for goal-based progression.
Then check that the server is online. Make sure it matches your game version before you connect.
Minecraft PE server gamemodes explained
Every server runs its own gamemode, ruleset, and in-game economy. These are the most popular server types on Bedrock Edition:
- Survival & SMP — the classic experience. You gather resources, build, and survive alongside a community, usually with light rules and grief protection. SMP ("Survival Multiplayer") servers focus on long-term worlds and player towns.
- Vanilla — survival with no extra plugins or custom items, as close to single-player Minecraft as multiplayer gets.
- Anarchy — no rules, no resets, no admins. Raiding, griefing, and stealing are all allowed, which makes these the most chaotic and unforgiving worlds in the game.
- Skyblock — you spawn on a tiny floating island with minimal resources and have to expand, automate, and climb the economy from nothing.
- Bedwars — teams protect their own bed while trying to destroy the enemy's. Lose your bed and you can no longer respawn. One of the most played minigames on Bedrock.
- Skywars — every player or team starts on a floating island, races to grab loot from the center, and fights until one is left standing.
- PvP & practice — servers built purely for combat: duels, ranked arenas, and kit-based fights to train your aim and movement.
- Prison — you start at the lowest rank, mine and sell ores to earn money, and work your way up through ranks toward freedom.
- Factions & Lifesteal — team-based competition where you build a base, raid rivals, and fight for territory. On Lifesteal servers, killing a player steals a heart from them and adds it to you.
- Pokémon — catch, train, and battle creatures across a custom world, with gyms, trades, and progression inspired by the Pokémon games.
- Minigames, Lucky Block & Hunger Games — quick-round game hubs with dozens of modes, from luck-based block battles to last-player-standing survival arenas.
- Creative & parkour — relaxed servers for building with unlimited blocks or running through obstacle courses, with no combat involved.
How to join a Minecraft Bedrock server
To join a server you only need its IP address and port. In Minecraft PE, open Play → Servers → Add Server.
Type any name, then paste the IP and port from the list above and tap Save. The server appears in your Servers tab — tap it to connect.
You can also tap "Play on Server" on any card to add it automatically. Don't have the game yet? Download Minecraft PE here.
What is a server IP and port?
The IP address is the server's location on the internet, like play.example.com. The port is the specific channel it listens on.
Most Bedrock servers use the default port 19132. If a server lists only an IP, try 19132.
Always copy the exact IP and port. A wrong port is the most common reason a connection fails.
Why won't a server connect?
Can't join a server? A few things could be wrong.
The server may be offline — the list shows its player count and status. Your game version may not match, since a 1.21 server can reject a 1.26 client or the reverse.
The IP or port may be wrong, or the server may be full. Some servers also use a whitelist that only lets approved players in.
Updating your game to 1.26 fixes most version errors.
Are Minecraft PE servers free?
Yes — almost every server in this list is free to join. You only need a legitimate copy of Minecraft and a Microsoft account.
Some servers sell optional ranks or cosmetics, but core gameplay stays free. That's different from a Realm, a small private world Mojang hosts on a monthly subscription for you and about ten friends.
Public servers are larger, free, and open to everyone.

Minecraft Bedrock servers — FAQ
What is the best Minecraft PE server?
The best server depends on how you like to play. The list above is ranked by player votes, so the top servers are community favorites.
The right one for you is whichever matches your gamemode and version — and is online right now.
Do I need to buy Minecraft to play on servers?
Yes. You need a paid, legitimate copy of Minecraft Bedrock Edition (Minecraft PE) and a Microsoft account.
What version do I need, 1.21 or 1.26?
Match your game to the server's version, shown on each card. Some run on Minecraft PE 1.21 and others on Minecraft PE 1.26.
Many support a range of versions, so updating to 1.26 lets you join the widest selection.
Are Bedrock servers safe to play?
Most established servers have chat moderation, anti-cheat, and rules against harassment. Stick to well-rated servers with active player counts.
Never share your account details. Use parental controls for younger players.
Do Java and Bedrock servers work together?
No. Java Edition and Bedrock Edition are separate and aren't compatible.
The servers here are all for Minecraft PE (Bedrock Edition), the version you play on Android and iOS. You'll need the Bedrock app on your phone, not Java.
