Minecraft Live 2026
Minecraft Live 2026: the annual global showcase for Minecraft players took place on March 21 and brought a large number of announcements, gameplay reveals, and details about upcoming Bedrock Edition updates.

Minecraft Live 2026: Main announcements
Minecraft Live 2026 became one of the most important events of the year for fans of the cubic universe. During the official broadcast, Mojang Studios presented new content drops, fresh gameplay mechanics, technical improvements, and future plans for the development of Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
The presentation focused on expanding survival gameplay, improving performance on mobile devices, and introducing new ways for players to explore worlds and interact with each other.
Players who follow the newest versions can already download Minecraft 26 builds to experience recent stability fixes, optimizations, and experimental mechanics connected with the current development cycle.
Tiny Takeover Drop
The first major content drop announced during the event is called Tiny Takeover and releases on March 24. This update introduces new appearances for all baby mobs, updated sound effects for adult creatures, and custom sounds for their smaller variants.
Players also get access to a golden dandelion item, redesigned textures for adult rabbits, and the ability to craft name tags. These additions expand customization options and make interactions with mobs more dynamic.

Minecraft World Theme Park
Mojang also revealed Minecraft World — a real-life theme park inspired by the game universe. The first location opens in London next year at the Chessington World of Adventures Resort.
The park is created in collaboration with popular content creators to recreate the feeling of exploring Minecraft in the real world. One of the main attractions will be the world’s first Minecraft-themed roller coaster.

Chaos Cubed Drop
Another major announcement is the Chaos Cubed drop. It introduces a new underground biome called Sulfur Caves along with a full set of sulfur-based polished blocks.
Sulfur interacts with water and produces steam that applies a nausea effect to players. Sulfur springs generate across the world, including inside caves, creating hazardous exploration zones.
A new mob called the Sulfur Cube appears in this update. The creature can absorb fallen blocks and temporarily harden. Players are able to push the mob, and its behavior changes depending on which block it has absorbed. For example, absorbing lighter blocks allows it to be knocked back further.

Minecraft Dungeons II
The developers officially announced Minecraft Dungeons II, scheduled for release in autumn 2026. The reveal trailer shows an activated portal in the Ancient City, confirming that the game will focus on sculk-related themes.
The project is already listed on Steam and will also launch on Xbox, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. More information about gameplay and story elements is expected soon.

Parties Feature
A new social feature called Parties allows players to connect with friends and family more easily. Users can invite each other and move together between worlds and Realms without complicated setup.
The system will also introduce new maps created by leading community developers, expanding cooperative gameplay possibilities.
