Minecraft PE has a small variety of textures. They can be complex that affect different aspects of the game. Sometimes there are addons that change the popular sandbox locally. For example, the Sky Texture Packs.
Beautiful Cubemaps Pack
This Sky Texture Pack changes the appearance of the heavens. The author did his best do make them maximum realistic, however, there is one caveat. All objects in the blue will not move. The picture will be absolutely static. From the point of the Minecraft PE gameplay, it will not be suitable. However, taking a screenshot is just the perfect option.
Custom Cubemaps
It’s not just a texture that changes the graphics of the sky. This is a unique modification that offers the Minecraft PE user ready-made heavens maps. The player can choose one of five options: luminous stars, dawn, space, night, or daytime.
A player can change the type of the blue background in the main settings of the Sky Texture Packs.
Specifications
The picture is not static thanks to these textures. A Minecraft PE user can rotate each map. The author added with Sky Texture Pack different times of the day: day, noon, sunset, night, midnight.
There are two types of graphics in total: transparent bright and non-transparent. Monochrome colors are available to the user in addition to bright ones during the daytime. But at night, bright colors disappear. Instead of them, the moon appears in the dark sky.
In the case of a non-transparent background, the colors do not disappear, but they cease to be bright. The sun and moon are slightly hidden behind clouds.
Installation
To install the .mcpack Sky Texture Pack file, follow the instructions:
- Download the add-on from the link;
- Run the downloaded pack at the same time with the desired version of Minecraft PE;
- After the textures are imported, a player should open the world settings and select the downloaded file;
- Activate it and start creating the game world.
