Arrows stop hitting the player who fired them
An Arrow shot from a slightly charged Bow used to curve back into the shooter. Minecraft Bedrock 26.44 removes that collision.
Damage still scales with velocity, so a light tap stays weak. A partly drawn Bow no longer costs health for firing it.
Sulfur Cubes stop behaving like monsters
Sulfur Cubes are not hostile anymore in Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.44. They stop blocking sleep, granting Monster Hunter or drawing conduit fire.
They spawn on the surface in Sulfur Caves at any light level. A cube holding a block deflects projectiles.
Players no longer get stuck inside a cube, and step sounds are gone. Sulfur Spikes stopped growing endlessly.
The Dappled Forest and Abandoned Camps stay behind the toggle
The third game drop still sits behind the experimental toggle. Nothing from it reaches a normal world yet.
The Dappled Forest generates near cold biomes. Poplar Trees, Shelf Mushrooms and Red Shrubs fill it.
Cold variants of Sheep, Chicken, Cow, Pig, Rabbit and Fox live inside the biome. Wandering Traders sell the new saplings and mushrooms.
Abandoned Camps reach eighteen biomes with their own designs. Chests and Barrels inside hold the loot.

Poplar wood, Shelf Mushrooms and Red Shrubs
Poplar Trees carry red, orange or yellow leaves. Poplar Logs craft a full wood set with doors and signs.

Cushions, Straw Beds and Wool Slabs
Cushions come in sixteen colors, cost three Wool Slabs each and have no collision.
Straw Beds craft four at a time from three Hay Bales. They skip the night without moving your spawn point.
Each Straw Bed breaks after one use. Wool Stairs and Wool Slabs arrived in all sixteen colors.
The Back button returns to the game instead of the home screen
Android devices treat the Back button as an in game back action after the Minecraft 26.44 Bedrock update. The old behavior pushed the whole session into the background.
Shift clicking in Creative keeps your items
Pocket UI used to delete stacks shift clicked in Creative mode. Those stacks now quick move into available inventory slots.
Commands stop expanding to the sender
Self selection expansion is gone for players without operator rights. A command such as /tell no longer resolves to the sender.
Vibrant Visuals hold up in worlds with Education features
Loading a world with Education features used to switch Vibrant Visuals off. The lighting stack now stays exactly as it was configured.
Texture Streaming keeps Guardian and End Crystal beams intact. Minecraft PE 1.26.44 also plays biome music in Lush Caves, Meadow, Stony Peaks and Swamps.
Cloud reflections, transparent sorting and colored light emitters render again. Point lights moved to a shadow atlas.
Add-on worlds load without kicking players out
Certain add-on content could disconnect players midway through world loading. That path is closed now.
For add-on authors, entity schemas turn strict and Fences expose connection states. Knockback rules use knockback_mode, and the script API sits at 2.9.0.
Getting the build on Android

ok so minecraft 26.44 finally stopped my own arrow from clipping me when i barely tap the bow, that was driving me nuts. still no poplar trees in my old world though, does the forest only spawn in fresh chunks or am i missing a setting
Hi, you do actually need to turn on the experimental Drop 3 on your world, just be careful about it, I would recommend to copy or backup your world before turning it on.
