Download Minecraft 26.60.21 / 1.26.60.21 APK and the headline change lands fast: Lush Caves now fill very humid regions. This Beta pushes Dripstone and Sulfur Caves out of those areas, clears stray blocks from Abandoned Camps and repairs a long list of survival bugs. Android players also get steadier lighting and a wider menu font. Grabbing it is free.

What the update actually changes

Mojang’s notes read like a cleanup pass, so most of the work shows up while you play rather than in a feature list. Earlier releases are gathered in one place if you would rather download minecraft bedrock apk files for another build.

Area Main change
Cave generation Lush Caves replace Dripstone and Sulfur Caves in humid regions
Camp blocks Mycelium and Coarse Dirt no longer generate in camps
Survival fixes Bundles, villagers and fall damage finally behave correctly
Graphics Volumetric Lights stop destabilising the game on phones
Menu text Bigger font covers Cyrillic, Greek and extended Latin
Download Minecraft PE 26.60.21 / 1.26.60.21 to test this yourself: nothing here is flagged as experimental, so every change applies immediately.

How it feels in game

Lush Caves take over humid regions

Dig under a swamp or jungle and you land in glowing green caverns far more often. Dripstone and Sulfur Caves lose their spot in the wettest regions of a fresh map.

Cleaner camps that open faster

Swamp camps no longer sit on a Mycelium block, and the single Coarse Dirt blocks are gone. Opening a camp chest for the first time also causes a smaller lag spike.

Fixes you meet in ordinary survival

Several fixes remove moments that used to cost you items or health.

  • Bundles keep their contents inside a Double Chest
  • Villagers stay responsive when you open the inventory
  • Grown horses can no longer squeeze through narrow corridors
  • Explorer Maps use clearer names like Woodland Mansion Map

Steadier graphics on Android phones

Setting Block Light Quality to Volumetric Lights no longer destabilises the game on Android. Selection outlines also return when a mob stands on the block you are aiming at.

Menus that finally read properly

MCPE now draws menu text with an 8×12 bitmap font covering extended Latin, Cyrillic and Greek characters, so those languages stop mixing typefaces. The report player panel scrolls on short screens too.

Download Minecraft Bedrock 26.60.21 / 1.26.60.21 if you want the repairs rather than fresh content. The rest of the line sits together, so you can download minecraft 26 and compare builds.

This Beta version leans on repair work rather than new content: fewer lost items, fewer visual glitches, and menus that read correctly.

FAQ

Can I download this Beta on Android?

Yes. The APK is available on this page, the file is free to grab, and you can start testing the changes straight away.

Where can I find other builds?

The Minecraft 26.60.21 / 1.26.60.21 apk sits here, while everything else from the same line is collected on the minecraft pe 26 download page.

What is the biggest change in Minecraft 26.60.21?

Cave generation. Very humid regions now produce Lush Caves instead of Dripstone or Sulfur Caves, which changes what you find under wet surface biomes.

Do Bundles still lose items in a Double Chest?

No. Contents used to vanish at random when a Bundle went into a Double Chest, and that behaviour is corrected in this build.

Is this build finished software?

No. This Beta goes out for testing, so it can carry unfinished changes that may still shift before the public release arrives.
