Explorer Maps turn Abandoned Camps into a starting point

Camp chests now hold Explorer Maps in Minecraft Bedrock 26.50.24. They lead to an Ancient City, a Mineshaft, a Desert Pyramid or Warm Ocean Ruins.

Other maps point at biome variants of the camp itself. Each destination got its own item icon.

The player icon keeps showing rotation outside the map bounds.

Concrete Stairs, Slabs and Poplar changes

Concrete Stairs and Concrete Slabs arrive in all sixteen colors. Poplar Leaves smelt into Leaf Litter in a furnace.

Remaining Poplar items moved between Mangrove and Cherry in the Creative inventory.

Cushions and Straw Beds get their edges filed

Cushion fixes

Destroying the block underneath no longer drags the sitting player into the ground. The Cushion breaks with particles and a sound instead.

A liquid replacing that block breaks it too, and a pushing block makes it pop into an item.

Straw Bed polish

The sleeping camera stopped floating above the player. Stray pixels and one overly shiny MERS pixel left the texture.

World loading, mobs and Sulfur Spikes

Sulfur Spikes and Pointed Dripstone grow at their old speed again. A recent change had them growing twenty five times faster.

Players and mobs no longer reload at coordinates zero and lose their inventory. Movement speed stays consistent after a reload.

Spiders and Cave Spiders stopped getting slowed by Web blocks. Totem activation syncs health even when the final value matches the original.

Crashes and performance

Network address lookups stopped crashing the game for Android users. Particle commands and idle CPU usage on the pause screen are fixed too.

Models and textures load correctly when the network switches mid join. Items in hand stopped jittering with temporal anti-aliasing upscaling.

Interface

The out of space error stopped appearing when you download large items with storage to spare. TNT and Stonecutters craft again through the Recipe Book.

Chat colour dropdowns, wishlist pagination and item tooltips were rebuilt.

Turning cheats off during world creation now resets them to default values. Skins accept names made entirely of numbers.

Creator and server changes

Glass panes, iron bars, copper bars and trip wire expose per direction connection states. New worlds send neighbour updates for them like Java Edition.

Structure files got a version 2 format that is roughly half the size. Old files upgrade the next time they are saved.

The block_entity and sound components left experiments. New components cover standing on Powder Snow and immunity to block slowdown.

Dedicated servers switched to NetherNet and gained a serveridentity command. Add-ons for Minecraft PE lose cross dimension teleport while passengers are attached.

Realms fixed role actions for certain roles. Friend profiles show a Realm specific join button when that Realm is online.
