PureTone Visuals Shader for Minecraft PE
PureTone Visuals is a Vibrant Visuals pack built for Bedrock’s new rendering pipeline. It reworks light, sky, and color while keeping the vanilla silhouette intact. Blocks stay readable. The world simply looks warmer and more filmic.
The PureTone Visuals shader ships with two complete atmosphere identities. The default leans golden-violet. The alternate is a softer pastel-pink mood. Both cover every biome, so nothing drops back to a flat vanilla sky.
PureTone Visuals
The PureTone Visuals shader for Minecraft PE rebuilds color grading across highlights, midtones, and shadows. Contrast is punched up. Saturation is stronger, but never neon.
The result sits between cinematic vibrancy and a vanilla-friendly look.
Vibrant Visuals must be enabled in your world settings first. Without it, the pack will not render.
Water is the clearest upgrade. It uses proper metalness, roughness, and emissive maps, so reflections behave like a real surface instead of a static texture. Lakes catch the sky. Oceans shift with the sun.
Advanced Atmospherics System
The sky runs on 20 custom keyframes across the full day-night cycle. Rayleigh and Mie scattering are tuned by hand, so sun glow, haze, and horizon blending stay believable at every hour. Sunrise and sunset pull deep violet into magenta.
Atmosphere coverage is complete in Minecraft Bedrock Edition — desert, taiga, swamp, and every other vanilla biome share the same tuning.

Violet Aurora at Night
A rare aurora drifts across the night sky. It is built from additive-blended light beams rather than a flat texture, so it glows softly instead of sitting pasted above the clouds.
The beams pulse in width and height over their lifetime. They sweep and arc wide above the player instead of parking in one fixed spot. The PureTone Visuals shader treats it as a real event, so catching one feels earned.
Lighting
Directional sunlight is warm and golden, backed by soft 1024-texel shadows. The illuminance ramp from full daylight down to night is smooth, so evenings fade instead of snapping dark.
Over 50 local light sources were recolored one by one — torches, lanterns, candles, ores, portals, froglights.
An alternate rose-toned mode swaps in pink lighting and violet moonlight for a different mood entirely, and caves in Minecraft PE read completely differently under it.
If you plan to pair the look with new blocks, these Texture Packs for Minecraft respond well to the PBR fallback.
Color Grading and Fog
ACES tone mapping runs at a 6200K white balance for a warm, natural base. Highlights, midtones, and shadows are graded separately, which is where the cinematic contrast comes from.
Two volumetric fog profiles are included: a cool blue-grey default and a rose-magenta alternate. Custom Henyey-Greenstein scattering handles light diffusion in air, water, and weather, so rain feels heavy instead of painted on.
The PureTone Visuals shader keeps both profiles consistent across biomes.
Drop your render distance by a chunk or two if the game stutters. Fog and the aurora cost the most frames.
Extras and Everyday Use
A global PBR fallback gives every block, item, actor, and particle a baseline sheen, so nothing looks unfinished next to the reworked water. Custom colormaps retint grass, foliage, birch, evergreen, swamp, and mangrove.
In practice, it suits survival worlds and screenshot builds equally. Download PureTone Visuals shader for Minecraft Bedrock, switch between the golden-violet and pastel-pink profiles, and keep whichever one matches your base.
ok the aurora caught me off guard lol, was mining at night and came out to this purple thing moving across the whole sky. runs fine on my phone too, just had to pull render distance down a bit.
